Birth to 5 years and seniors
This is a Music Together parent-child music and movement class that provides a unique experience for all! Classes will be held at Williamsburg Landing Senior Residence Recreation Room which has plenty of room to dance and beautiful views of the water through the windows. Senior citizens from the residence will join us singing and dancing along with the children and their parents or caregivers, giving the infants, toddlers, and preschoolers the chance to befriend senior citizens besides their own grandparents and make music together. The Friday class will be directed by Ann Benson, Center Director for Musical Beginnings Music Together and the Saturday class will be co-directed by Ann Benson and Monica Glaysure, certified Music Together Instructor.
"Hi Ann, first let me tell you that today's class was the most rewarding experience I have had in a very long time...I am truely touched." Karen Smith
"What a warm felt experience when you attend the Intergenerational Music Together class. When leaving your class you leave with a feeling of giving back. What a great way of teaching our children love and sharing with our older generation. It's a wonderful thing!" Dawn Tate
