Winter Session Classes

Listed below is information on our Winter Session Music Together Classes.

Our WINTER SESSION begins the week of JANUARY 5 and ends MARCH 14, 2009.  There will be ten weekly, 45-minute classes.  The Bells song collection will be featured. Maximum class size is 10 children/adult couples (not including siblings 8 months and  younger - a maximum of two per class).  The Intergenerational classes include seniors as well.  

At any time you can schedule a FREE sample class.  See our "Classes" section for a list of class times.  This is an excellent opportunity to experience our classes, meet the teacher, and see our wonderful studios.  Invite your friends, playgroups, etc. to attend too!

TUITION FOR MUSIC TOGETHER INCLUDES:

• Ten weekly 45-minute classes using a new song collection
every session — nine collections rotated over three years.

 • Music and Your Child: A Guide for Parents and Caregivers — a
complimentary booklet given to parents new to Music Together®.

• New, professionally recorded CD for each session, with new songs,
rhythm chants, “play-alongs,” and tonal/rhythmic patterns. Two identical CDs - one for home and one for the car.

• Songbook with colored illustrations, notes and chords to the songs,
many graphics, and lots of activity ideas to help you enjoy every song at home. 
 
Each class includes songs, rhythmic chants, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences that are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers, regardless of their own musical abilities.

We offer you 2 make-up classes per Session in case your family has an illness or is out of town.  Make-up classes need to be taken during the same session.  Please schedule your make-up classes with the director.
